Flickr photo gallery is one of the most handy and easiest to manage online photo gallery. You can put all of your photo collection regardless of size and it's online so that it is accessible just with an internet connection. Previously, I used to put all my photos at webshots and a few other places but soon I found out that it is rather troublesome with that other places because of excessive advertisement and not easily maneuver, the navigation, menus is rather limited.

Later on, I found flickr and it slowly became a favourite for hosting all my sharable pictures. In fact I can have sets of photos that can be tagged as private that selected people only can view them.

As a free member, with just a Yahoo ID, one can have unlimited space at flickr. There is a few limitation with free account, you have a limit of upload bandwidth per month, 100MB if not mistaken, limited sets or category of photos, and so on check out the faq at flickr. But with just USD24.95 you can become a Pro and have many more options and features.

A beautiful little bird, chirping happly while collecting nectar.. Thank you to Mr. Nelsonkhor for the name of the bird. It is hard to capture a good picture of birds in the wild, I suppose you need a lot of practice and patience not counting great passion in order to succeed in the field of bird photography.

Last weekend I went to watch a motorcross competition held at a new motorcross track about 20 minutes drive from my home. I managed to take few photos but the quality is not as good as I hope for, neverthess I suppose it is ok for a beginner in taking fast sport actions like this.

In your life when everything is ample you will definitely at ease but it's human nature to not really satisfy with every little bit that is ordinary. Unlike plants especially flowers, when everything is perfect, A ok... the cycle of life keeps going.. on and on and on and on... like this little water lily at our small water pot. I suppose everything is cozy at the place where my wife put it in about 3-4 months ago. From the first few weeks it never fail to produce at least 1 flower that successfully blooms into lovely lily and I hope it would last a lifetime... You will never tired of watching each and every blooms to the other...

This is a beautiful White Butterfly or Moth Orchid, known also as the Phalaenopsis Amabilis. It requires indirect sunlight with a rather humid surrounding but not wet. It could bloom at one time for weeks.

The uniqueness about Malaysia in comparison to many other countries that have the same traits and attraction of a melting pot county is the richness of cultural heritage. Malaysia is one of the Malay Archipelago, a cluster of islands consist almost 20,000 island in which constitutes Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei and stretching to Papua New Guinea. As such many of the cultural activities like dances, foods and even languages are common from one country to the other.

Most of the local people where I live (Batu Pahat) somehow or rather can be traced to be originated from Java of Indonesia, many of which migrated over a century ago. And many cultural inheritance like dances and food are rather similar with the current people of Java, Indonesia. One of the most popular entertainment activities is Kuda Kepang dance. It is especially popular during wedding festival and many special occasions.

Last week I manage to take a few photos at one of the Kuda Kepang dance and it sure brings lots of memories since nowadays you hardly find it to be held at weddings anymore. Not like when I was a kid whereby each and every wedding would host a Kuda Kepang dance.
